Some of us live with meaningless soul crushing activity pretending not to know it. Takes a shock to wake us up. The wiser, more courageous, or just lucky figure it out early. I knew you were a great photographer, but didn't know what a terrific writer you are. I will follow your work and perhaps someday visit you in Costa Rica. I'll be staying in a room with clean linens and a mosquito net. My list of things that crush my soul includes swatting mosquitoes all night. Fascinating.
