Fashion Photography on a Budget
Fashion photography is a process, somewhat like cooking, where collaboration and good ingredients are everything. This series was shot for a local clothing store on a tight budget, with local talent and art direction. Laura Sibley, the art director, managed to swing a perfect location in a Moroccan style villa that suited the clothing perfectly. The location had excellent light with its huge white walls reflecting a soft and flattering glow that made everything look amazing. The model is Judith Hermans, a favorite of mine because of her easet in front of the camera, her perfect skin, and her trust in me. This is a natural light series shot with long lenses wide open to separate the model from the background. For the budget price, we managed to get a result that was successful for the stores image.
